I had a fantastic summer, I hope you did too! I visited family in North and South Carolina, then traveled to a high school reunion and saw friends and family in Florida (That's my high-school nurse, Mrs. Othon, in the picture with me. I was so happy to see her!) Then it was time for Comic-Con, and a special group of people joined me. TT, Erin, Shane, Morgan and Sarah (plus parents and a friend) spent Saturday at Comic-Con and got to see panels, visit the showrooms, and attend the Masquerade. I loved showing off my students to the Masquerade crew - who knows, maybe one day they'll be working there! After Comic-Con, it was time to pack my bags for Scotland, with a pit-stop in London to see "Matilda" and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" (a Roald Dahl musical theatre weekend, very fun!). My best friend and I toured ancient ruins, castles, and other venues in Edinburgh, Islay, and the Isle of Skye before seeing Runrig in concert on the moor outside of Inverness. Lots of great lighting effects! Now I'm back in the classroom, with a bunch of new ideas and resources, and ready for a fantastic school year. Let's have fun together!
